Worked on rolling the leading edges for the Rudder and Right Elevator. Found the best method was the Vans method with tape and the steel pipe with one of us on each end. A little more massaging and then we can blind rivet them.
Riveted the Right Elevator structure together.
Prepped the Left elevator, disassembled and primed the parts for reassembly.
Primed more of the elevator parts in prep for assembly.
Back riveted all the stiffeners on the right elevator and started working on the rest of the right and left elevator structures.
Primered the right Elevator Skin, along with all the stiffeners.
Started to assemble the left and right elevators. Fit the ribs and prepped the counterbalance weights. I need to finish priming the elevator skins and get the stiffeners back riveted on before I can continue here.
Spent some time deburring and prepping parts for assembly on the left and right elevators.
Began riveting the skin on the rudder. Started off with putting a dab of silicone near the trailing edge and the stiffeners.
With the longeron yoke I was able to get all the rivets inside R-710.

Finished match drilling the stiffeners to the Elevators, then I deburred and dimpled the stiffeners. The DRDT2 is at the hangar so I couldn’t dimple the skins yet.
