Left & Right Elevator part 2
Hours this entry: 2Started to assemble the left and right elevators. Fit the ribs and prepped the counterbalance weights. I need to finish priming the elevator skins and get the stiffeners back riveted on before I can continue here.
More Cockpit Floor Work
Hours this entry: 1Got all the floor pieces fitted and match drilled. Now I can finish prepping the rear portion of the fuse for primer and finally get it moved to the hangar.
Left & Right Elevator
Hours this entry: 1.0Spent some time deburring and prepping parts for assembly on the left and right elevators.
Seat Primer & Cockpit stuff
Hours this entry: 2.0Primered the seats this evening (I miss the late summer light).
Also deburred and worked on some of the various cockpit panels/parts.
Fuselage Cleaning

The fuselage got a good scrub down in preparation to get the inside primed. The plan is to prime all the parts from the cockpit aft that will be getting interior paint shot over it. We’ll then work on the cockpit areas at the hangar, prime those and then do JetFlex on the interior.
Front Seat
Hours this entry: 2Spent some time getting the front seat going. Deburred all the parts, cut the holes for the seatbelts, got the seat hinge in place and all parts match drilled.
Rudder Skin Riveting
Hours this entry: 2.5Began riveting the skin on the rudder. Started off with putting a dab of silicone near the trailing edge and the stiffeners.
With the longeron yoke I was able to get all the rivets inside R-710.

Rear Seat part 2
Hours this entry: .75Spent a little time this evening on the rear seat. Got the hinge put in place with the alignment hole according to the plans, clamped it and then drilled it in place.

Rear Seat
Hours this entry: .5Started mocking up the rear seat. Clecoed it together and cut the rear hinge. Cut the hinge pins to size and bent 90’s on the end. Need to finish match drilling the seat, then I’ll get it prepped to prime/paint.
